Stephen Connelly is a Certified Practising Planner who enjoys almost 30 years experience in town planning. Between 1978 and 1986 he was employed in NSW local government, involved in both strategic and statutory planning roles.

Mr Connelly entered private practice in 1986. Stephen's specialist skills are in the fields of Project Strategy and ESD planning. As such much of his professional experience relates to major site master planning and natural area management planning projects. Such projects have required significant environmental, economic and social impact assessment.

Mr Connelly's recent work has focused on master planning for sustainable village forms including eco villages and hamlets, urban villages, manufactured housing estates and technology park design linked to a village theme. He is also extensively involved in research and the implementation of software associated with using the intranet in contemporary planning practice.

Mr Connelly is regularly called upon to give expert testimony in various court jurisdictions.
